Resident Engineer. This position is to provide resident engineer duties for projects in excess of $20M in accordance with the ConnDOT Manual of Uniform Recording Keeping for a bridge and highway projects. Good communication and client relationship skills are a must; with the expertise to manage a large staff of field personnel and work as a team member.Critical skills & Necessary experienceTo qualify, applicants must have 10-fifteen years background as a Resident Engineer, a CT PE license, and all requisite NETTCP certifications. Applicant should have a depth of background with ConnDOT Dist 1, 3, and 4, as well as various municipalities. Advancement to Manage the Construction Department is possible. The responsibilities of this possible management position will include; identifying future construction inspection projects, developing roster of inspectors, identifying clients, marketing, hiring and managing staff and generally overseeing the operations of the Construction Department.Listing originally posted at http
